Our Little Sprouts !

Parents, here’s a story that speaks volumes on how to raise a teenager.

“ There once was a farmer who day after day, went out into his field to check on his little sprouts

He could see them coming up out of the soil, little by little, day by day,

But he grew impatient….

One day he decided to help the sprouts grow.

He tugged gently at their roots expecting them to grow a little more with the push he felt they needed.

Until he accidentally pulled the sprouts right out of the soil!!

No matter how gently he tugged the sprouts, he ripped them out of the ground.

“ I’ll replant them! I can repair the damage!” he shouted.

But despite his best efforts to replant them, when he returned to his field the next day, all of his sprouts were withered.

Parents: think of your child as tender sprouts.

Sometimes they need protection from being trampled…

But what they need most is for YOU to take a step back and allow them time and space to grow independently!
